City of Hope's Orange County campus, opened in 2022 to bring NCI comprehensive centre-level cancer care and trials to Irvine.
City of Hope Orange County opened the Lennar Foundation Cancer Center in Irvine in 2022, extending City of Hope's Duarte-based NCI comprehensive cancer centre into Orange County, with a specialty cancer hospital planned on the same campus. The site offers City of Hope's clinical trial portfolio, precision medicine, cellular therapy and surgical oncology closer to a population of more than three million people, and is part of a national network that also includes the former Cancer Treatment Centers of America hospitals in Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix. It complements UC Irvine's Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center in the same county.
