The east Montreal university hospital that runs Quebec's largest stem cell transplant and cell therapy programme.
Overview
Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont is the flagship hospital of the CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'Île-de-Montréal and a teaching hospital of the Université de Montréal. It hosts Quebec's largest haematology and stem cell transplant programme, the Centre d'excellence en thérapie cellulaire (CETC) for manufacturing cell therapies, and a designated cancer programme with radiotherapy, medical oncology and surgical oncology serving eastern Montreal and Laval. Its research centre is known for immunology and transplantation, leukaemia biology and the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer partnership, and it participates in Canadian Cancer Trials Group and cell therapy trials.
