A global network of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) patient advocates, founded in 2014, which builds tools for national groups and advocates for better care.
The CLL Advocates Network was founded in 2014 by representatives from Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Portugal, the UK and the United States, and is hosted by the Leukaemia Patient Advocates Foundation in Bern, according to its about page. A steering committee of nine, seven of them patients, governs it. Its stated objective is to improve CLL care and outcomes by acting as an international collective of CLL patient advocates, developing tools for local communities and advocating for care and access; individual support stays with national groups. It runs a CLL clinical trials hub and patient and carer experience surveys.
