The Acute Leukemia Advocates Network describes itself as an independent global network of patient organisations working to change outcomes for patients with acute leukaemias by strengthening patient advocacy. It is hosted by the Leukemia Patient Advocates Foundation, a patient-led non-profit foundation in Bern. Its aims are patient information and support for acute leukaemias in all countries, stronger patient organisations, awareness, and advocacy for treatment, care and access. It publishes a code of conduct and a code of practice on working with the pharmaceutical industry (both September 2023).
