A Mumbai charity that provides nutritionists and food support to children with cancer from poor families in hospitals across India.
Cuddles Foundation was started by Purnota Dutta Bahl after she saw, on a visit to Tata Memorial Hospital, how poor nutrition affected children with cancer. It describes itself as India's only not-for-profit giving personalised, holistic nutritional aid to underprivileged children fighting cancer, working through a network of partner hospitals.
Its nutritionists track each child's progress through its FoodHeals app, to help children complete treatment and improve their nutritional status, and it runs courses in paediatric nutrition for health professionals.
