South Korea's professional society for cancer doctors and researchers: it publishes the journal Cancer Research and Treatment and runs scientific meetings, including a joint conference with the AACR.
The Korean Cancer Association (대한암학회) is the national scientific society for cancer research and care in South Korea. It publishes the open-access journal Cancer Research and Treatment, holds scientific meetings including the 2026 AACR-KCA Joint Conference on Precision Medicine in Cancer, supports members' travel to international congresses, and publishes reports on trends in Korean cancer research. Its site lists the National Cancer Center and the council of cancer-related societies as participating bodies. Its UICC profile records that it grew out of the Korean Cancer Research Association, took its present name in 1974 and joined UICC in 2008. It is a society for professionals rather than a patient service. UICC lists it as a Full Member.
