Marie Curie Hospice, Glasgow is one of Marie Curie's nine hospices, at 133 Balornock Road, Glasgow G21 3US. The hospice page says Marie Curie helps people with an illness they are likely to die from, and the people close to them, receive specialist care and support for free, including people with advanced cancer as well as dementia, heart, liver, kidney and lung disease, motor neurone disease and Parkinson's. It lists in-patient stays, outpatient care, wellbeing support from gentle exercise to reiki, and home visits wherever the person lives, including care homes. Patients cannot refer themselves: the page asks you to contact the professional in charge of your care, such as the community palliative care team, GP, hospital consultant or district nurse.
