A volunteer group of patients and carers living with ROS1-positive cancer, founded in 2015, whose members donate tumour samples to build research models.
The ROS1ders was founded in 2015 by a small group of patients with ROS1-positive lung cancer and incorporated in 2019 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit run by volunteers, most of them patients or caregivers, according to its about page. It describes itself as the largest collection of ROS1-positive patients and caregivers in the world, with hundreds of members in dozens of countries. Members donate fresh tumour specimens to create cancer models, and it has partnered with other non-profits to drive research into ROS1-positive cancers. The IRS record lists it in Sacramento.
