Cancer prevention research

Cancer Prevention Research is published by the American Association for Cancer Research. It publishes original studies, reviews and commentaries in cancer prevention, early detection and interception, spanning preclinical, clinical, translational and implementation research with an emphasis on molecular discoveries and on bridging basic, clinical and population sciences. Areas of interest on its About page include early detection technologies and biomarkers such as liquid biopsy, risk assessment and screening, the biology of susceptibility and premalignancy, risk factors from the microbiome and viruses to obesity, inflammation and environmental carcinogens, and preventive interventions including their implementation in underserved populations. Launched in 2008, it has appeared twenty-four times a year since 2009; NLM notes print ceased with volume 13 in December 2020. Indexed in MEDLINE.
