Overview
Familial Cancer, published by Springer under a hybrid publishing model, is a forum for clinical cancer genetics, which its aims describe as a multidisciplinary field where clinical and molecular geneticists work with oncologists and psychosocial workers. The journal covers the epidemiology of familial cancer, molecular analysis and diagnosis, clinical expression, treatment and prevention, counselling and the health economics of familial cancer, and publishes Original Articles, Reviews, Short Communications, Book Reviews and Letters to the Editor. The NLM Catalog records a start in 2000 with Kluwer Academic Publishers in Dordrecht, quarterly publication and MEDLINE indexing.
