Overview
Andrés Ferreri led IELSG20, which established high-dose methotrexate plus cytarabine for primary CNS lymphoma, and IELSG32, which showed the MATRix regimen (adding rituximab and thiotepa) followed by autologous transplant or whole-brain radiotherapy produces durable remissions in most fit patients. He coordinates the International Extranodal Lymphoma Study Group and leads trials of novel agents in CNS and ocular lymphomas.
