Professor Ate van der Zee leads University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) as voorzitter of its Raad van Bestuur, the executive board of the academic hospital of the University of Groningen. UMCG is one of the eight Dutch university medical centres and includes the UMCG Comprehensive Cancer Center, which brings together its cancer care and cancer research. The Dutch Wikipedia article on UMCG names him as board chair; it does not name a separate head for the cancer centre.
