Overview
Chris Hillis is Vice President, Oncology and Site Executive for the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre at Hamilton Health Sciences, leading one of Ontario's largest integrated cancer programmes, and serves as Regional Vice President for the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Regional Cancer Program with Ontario Health. He is a malignant haematologist focused on chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and myeloproliferative neoplasms and an Associate Professor at McMaster University. He previously served as Chief of Oncology and Associate Chief Medical Information Officer, holds an MSc in quality improvement and patient safety, and leads a CIHR-funded research programme on making clinical trial outcomes more meaningful to patients with haematological malignancies.
