Overview
Norbert Vey is Directeur Général of Institut Paoli-Calmettes (IPC), the Centre de Lutte Contre le Cancer in Marseille, accredited as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the OECI. He took office on 13 May 2022 for a five-year term following a ministerial decree, succeeding Patrice Viens, who had led the institute since 2007. He is a professor of haematology at Aix-Marseille University and a hospital practitioner specialising in the treatment of leukaemia, and previously directed the institute's haematology department.
