Overview
Deborah Schrag was principal investigator of PATHFINDER, the first prospective study to return Galleri multi-cancer early detection results to participants and their doctors, which showed a cancer signal in about 1% of people and a positive predictive value near 40%, and of PROSPECT, the Alliance trial showing FOLFOX can replace pelvic radiotherapy for many rectal cancers. She chairs medicine at MSKCC and leads pragmatic outcomes research.
