Florian Lordick
German GI oncologist who leads ESMO's gastric cancer guidelines and pivotal perioperative trials.
Overview
Florian Lordick (University Cancer Center Leipzig) led the MUNICON trials of PET-guided treatment and is a principal investigator on trials of perioperative immunotherapy and HER2-directed therapy in gastro-oesophageal cancer. He chairs the ESMO gastric cancer guideline group and has served on the ESMO executive board. His work focuses on tailoring perioperative therapy and on nutrition in GI cancer.
