Overview
Jens Overgaard is Professor in the Department of Oncology at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital, where he founded the Department of Experimental Clinical Oncology. He has led the Danish Head and Neck Cancer Group (DAHANCA) trials for decades, establishing the role of hypoxic modification and altered fractionation in radiotherapy, and has been a central figure in European radiation oncology research.
