Maurizio Di Mauro is Direttore Generale of the Istituto Nazionale Tumori IRCCS Fondazione G. Pascale in Naples, southern Italy's national cancer institute for research and care. He graduated in medicine and surgery at the University Federico II of Naples, specialised in infectious diseases and holds a master's degree in health economics and management. He was previously Medical Director of the Pascale, General Director of the Ospedali dei Colli hospital company and General Director of the university hospital of the Second University of Naples, and he was quoted as the institute's General Director in national press coverage in January 2026.
