Overview
Carla Gonçalo is Presidente do Conselho de Administração of the Instituto Português de Oncologia de Lisboa Francisco Gentil (IPO Lisboa), the public oncology hospital that serves as the cancer reference centre for the Lisbon region. She is a health manager who previously sat on the management council of the Executive Directorate of Portugal's National Health Service (SNS) and earlier served as vice-president of the Central Administration of the Health System (ACSS). The current board was appointed by Resolução do Conselho de Ministros n.º 60/2025, published on 18 March 2025, for a three-year term.
