Overview
Michael Berger led the development of MSK-IMPACT, the hybrid-capture sequencing assay that profiles hundreds of cancer genes in every MSKCC patient and became the first laboratory-developed tumour panel authorised by the FDA. The 2017 Nature Medicine paper on 10,000 profiled patients showed how prospective clinical sequencing enables trial matching. He also co-developed MSK-ACCESS for ctDNA and OncoKB with Debyani Chakravarty.
