Overview
Nicole Boutilier is President and Chief Executive Officer of Nova Scotia Health, the provincial authority that operates the Nova Scotia Health Cancer Care Program. A family physician from Pictou County, she graduated from Dalhousie Medical School and completed her family medicine residency in Calgary, and has more than 30 years in medicine and 21 years in leadership roles. She was previously Executive Vice President of Medicine and Clinical Operations at Nova Scotia Health and co-lead of the Nova Scotia Office of Healthcare Professional Recruitment, led the organisation's Operational Excellence transformation, and received the 2026 Chris Carruthers Excellence in Medical Leadership Award. Nova Scotia Health's Cancer Care Program pages do not name a separate programme lead.
