Overview
Peter Borchmann chairs the German Hodgkin Study Group and was principal investigator of HD21, which showed the brentuximab-based BrECADD regimen is both more effective and less toxic than escalated BEACOPP in advanced-stage Hodgkin lymphoma with 95% three-year progression-free survival, and of HD18, which used PET to reduce treatment from six cycles to four. He leads GHSG trials of immunotherapy in first-line disease.
