Overview
Ralph Weichselbaum, MD, is a member of the Executive Committee of the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center and a long-standing leader of its radiation oncology programme. With Samuel Hellman he proposed the oligometastasis hypothesis, and his laboratory studies how radiation interacts with innate and adaptive immunity, including STING pathway signalling. His role is listed on the centre's leadership page.
