Overview
Professor John Stagg is Director of the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute at McGill University, succeeding Morag Park who completed a 12-year term as Director in September 2025. He is Professor in McGill's Department of Microbiology and Immunology and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universite de Montreal. His laboratory investigates how cancers develop resistance to immunotherapy, including the effect of adenosine on immune cells, and uses multi-omics data to identify targets and develop biologic anti-cancer treatments.
