Overview
Renaud Witmeur holds the Direction Générale of the Hôpital Universitaire de Bruxelles (H.U.B), the university hospital group that brings together Institut Jules Bordet, Hôpital Erasme and the Hôpital Universitaire des Enfants Reine Fabiola. Institut Jules Bordet, founded in 1935 and rebuilt on the Anderlecht campus in 2021, is Belgium's only hospital devoted entirely to cancer and is governed through the H.U.B management council rather than a separate hierarchy. Within that structure the medical direction is led by Directeur Général Médical Jean-Marie Hougardy, and Chloé Spilleboudt serves as Médecin-Cheffe for the Institut Jules Bordet site.
