Overview
Timothy Hughes led the molecular monitoring analyses of the IRIS trial that established BCR-ABL1 quantitative PCR and the International Scale as the way to track chronic myeloid leukaemia, and co-led ENESTnd (nilotinib) and the studies of treatment-free remission showing about half of patients in deep molecular response can stop tyrosine kinase inhibitors. He has chaired the International CML Foundation.
