Stanford dermatologist who led MAVORIC, the trial that established mogamulizumab for mycosis fungoides and Sézary syndrome after earlier treatment.
Overview
Youn Kim directs the cutaneous lymphoma programme at Stanford. She was first author of the 2018 Lancet Oncology report of MAVORIC, the phase 3 trial in which the anti-CCR4 antibody mogamulizumab improved progression-free survival compared with vorinostat in previously treated mycosis fungoides and Sézary syndrome, the basis for its approval. She has led many trials of new agents in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and helped define its staging and response criteria.
