Ivermectin plus losartan for COVID-19 in cancer patients (ICESP phase 2, terminated)
This Brazilian trial tested ivermectin against COVID-19 in people with cancer, not against the cancer itself. It was stopped early because an interim analysis found no difference between the drug and placebo.

The trial opened on 23 July 2020, planned 176 patients and was terminated after enrolling 77 (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT04447235). The registry gives the reason for stopping as 'futility analysis has demonstrated no difference between arms' (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT04447235). No results are posted and no publication was found on Europe PMC (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT04447235). It appears on this page because it is one of only four ivermectin studies on ClinicalTrials.gov that name cancer, and it says nothing about ivermectin as a cancer treatment (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT04447235).
