Blank Bio
Blank Bio trains AI models on tumour RNA to predict how a disease will progress and which patients will respond, so drug companies can run smarter cancer trials.
Overview
Blank Bio is an applied AI research lab training RNA foundation models on transcriptomic data to learn patterns of disease progression and treatment response, with the aim of improving clinical trial success rates in oncology by capturing what makes each patient's tumour unique. The team comes from Recursion, Deep Genomics, DeepMind, Amazon, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Stanford and the Vector Institute. Its website describes the work as RNA intelligence for precision oncology; products are in development.
