Crescent Biopharma is developing an antibody that blocks two cancer pathways at once, the PD-1 immune brake and the VEGF blood-vessel signal, alongside antibody-drug conjugates. Its lead antibody is in an international phase 1/2 trial.
Crescent Biopharma was incorporated in Delaware on 19 September 2024 to develop antibody and ADC candidates licensed from Paragon Therapeutics, and became a Nasdaq-listed company (CBIO) through a reverse recapitalisation with GlycoMimetics on 16 June 2025. Its lead CR-001 is a PD-1 x VEGF bispecific antibody enrolling in the global phase 1/2 ASCEND trial, including cohorts combined with standard chemotherapy. CR-002 is a PD-L1-directed ADC with a topoisomerase inhibitor payload, whose IND the FDA cleared in October 2026, and CR-003 is SKB105, an ITGB6-directed ADC licensed from Sichuan Kelun-Biotech for territories outside Greater China.
