Evergreen Theragnostics
Evergreen Theragnostics manufactures radioactive cancer medicines for other companies and develops its own imaging agent for neuroendocrine tumours and a treatment for small cell lung cancer. Lantheus agreed to buy it in 2025.
Overview
Evergreen Theragnostics is a Springfield, New Jersey radiopharmaceutical company combining contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services with proprietary products. Its facility, completed in October 2021, has produced clinical material for partners including Clovis Oncology (225Ac FAP-2286), Clarity (copper theranostics), MTTI and Precirix (CAM-H2). Proprietary programmes include OCTEVY, a registrational-stage PET diagnostic for neuroendocrine tumours, and EVG321, a CCK2 receptor-targeted radioligand licensed from the Medical University of Innsbruck in May 2024 for small cell lung cancer, with the CCK2-VIEW phase 2 trial opened in the EU in October 2024. In January 2025 Lantheus agreed to acquire Evergreen for USD 250 million upfront and up to USD 752.5 million in milestones, to become a fully integrated radiopharmaceutical company.
