Genocury Biotech, in Shenzhen, is testing CAR-T treatments made inside the patient's body from a single infusion, rather than in a laboratory, for lymphoma, leukaemia and myeloma. The trials are early and run by hospital investigators in China.
Shenzhen Genocury Biotech develops in vivo CAR-T therapies: an intravenous product that generates CAR-T cells inside the body. On ClinicalTrials.gov it sponsors investigator-initiated, single-centre studies of JY231 in relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphoma and leukaemia (NCT06678282, started 2023; NCT06890065, started 2025) and of JY232 in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (NCT07336823, registered January 2026). In April 2025 the company reported a single case from an investigator-initiated trial at Tongji Hospital: a patient with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma reached complete remission within 28 days of one dose of its in vivo CD19 CAR-T, given without lymphodepleting chemotherapy, with no cytokine release syndrome or ICANS reported. That is one patient. OrbiMed's portfolio page describes the company as developing in vivo CAR-T for oncology and autoimmune diseases. Its website also lists iPSC and reporter cell-line services.

JY232 is an experimental in vivo CAR-T therapy from Genocury Biotech, in early studies for multiple myeloma.
