Heidelberg Pharma, based in Ladenburg near Heidelberg and listed in Frankfurt, develops antibody-targeted amanitin conjugates (ATACs): the payload amanitin inhibits RNA polymerase II, a mechanism distinct from the microtubule and DNA-damaging payloads of most ADCs and active in slowly dividing cells. Its lead candidate HDP-101 targets BCMA in relapsed multiple myeloma, and the platform is licensed to partners including Takeda.
