Overview
Aurigene was established in 2001 as a discovery subsidiary of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and now describes itself as a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on cancer therapeutics, with more than 80 integrated discovery projects delivered, 22 programmes in global clinical development and a team of over 350 scientists in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Its model has been to discover molecules against validated cancer targets and partner them with global companies for clinical development, while building an Indian pipeline that includes a BCMA-directed CAR-T for multiple myeloma developed for the Indian market.
