Overview
The Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome (IFM) is a cooperative group created in 1994, the only French group working on myeloma, with 140 French and 33 Belgian centres; its aim is to promote basic and therapeutic research through clinical trials, it was labelled by the Institut National du Cancer in December 2018, and its registered office is at 75 avenue Parmentier, Paris (myelome.fr). ClinicalTrials.gov names it lead sponsor (NETWORK class, with HOVON and Janssen as collaborators) of CASSIOPEIA (NCT02541383, phase 3, daratumumab added to bortezomib, thalidomide and dexamethasone before and after transplant); IFM 2009 (NCT01191060, lenalidomide, bortezomib and dexamethasone with or without early transplant) is registered by the University Hospital of Toulouse as an IFM trial. Both are recorded in OnCo. It has no products of its own.
