The European Myeloma Network is the non-profit network of European myeloma haematologists created from 2005 to run shared research and trials; its Dutch foundation is the registry sponsor of CARTITUDE-6 in OnCo.
Overview
The European Myeloma Network (EMN) describes itself as a non-profit organisation created to increase understanding of multiple myeloma and to produce effective research projects and clinical trials; its website dates the effort to 2005, when a group of European haematologists pulled together, and records a bylaw update in 2017 and a senior board formed in 2019. After a legal demerger, the trials formerly sponsored by the European Myeloma Network Foundation are sponsored by European Myeloma Network B.V., Rotterdam, wholly owned by the Dutch foundation Stichting European Myeloma Network, with a trial office in Turin (myeloma-europe.org). ClinicalTrials.gov names Stichting European Myeloma Network (NETWORK class, with Janssen Research & Development as collaborator) as lead sponsor of CARTITUDE-6 (NCT05257083, phase 3, ciltacabtagene autoleucel against autologous transplant after daratumumab-VRd induction in transplant-eligible myeloma), the trial recorded in OnCo. It has no products of its own.
