Mendus
Mendus makes an off-the-shelf cell-based cancer vaccine, given as a skin injection after standard treatment, to stop leukaemia and ovarian cancer from coming back.
Overview
Mendus AB (Nasdaq Stockholm: IMMU) is headquartered in Stockholm with research and development in Leiden. Lead programme vididencel (DCP-001) is an allogeneic active immunotherapy derived from a proprietary leukaemia cell line; given intradermally it triggers local immune activation and tumour-directed immune responses against residual disease. It is being developed as maintenance therapy in acute myeloid leukaemia (ADVANCE II and CADENCE), in high-risk ovarian cancer (ALISON), where in June 2026 the company reported long-term progression-free survival with broad immune activation and five participants progression-free at long-term follow-up, and in chronic myeloid leukaemia for treatment-free remission (VITAL-CML, first stage fully enrolled in 2026). A second asset, ilixadencel, is an intratumoural allogeneic dendritic cell product.
