Neomorph
Neomorph makes small molecules called molecular glues that stick a disease protein to the cell's disposal machinery so it is destroyed. Its first drug is in an early trial for clear cell kidney cancer.
Overview
Neomorph is a San Diego company that engineers neomorphic protein surfaces to discover molecular glue degraders, claiming the largest proprietary molecular glue target space with multiple novel degrons, glue libraries and a broad portfolio of E3 ubiquitin ligases. Its lead programme, NEO-811, degrades ARNT (HIF-1 beta) and is in a first-in-human phase 1/2 monotherapy trial in advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma; two undisclosed solid tumour programmes and early oncology, immunology, neurology and cardiometabolic targets follow. Partnerships include an option-to-license deal with AbbVie in oncology and immunology (January 2025, up to 1.64 billion US dollars), a multi-target collaboration with Biogen, and work with Novo Nordisk. Neomorph closed a 100 million US dollar Series B in April 2026 led by Deerfield Management.
