Notable Labs
Notable Labs tested drug combinations directly on a patient's own blood cancer cells to predict which would work. It later became a listed company; its website was offline at the last check.
Overview
Notable Labs built an automated laboratory in Foster City that exposed a patient's own leukaemia or lymphoma cells to combinations of approved drugs and measured which killed the cancer cells while sparing healthy ones, a functional precision medicine approach aimed at relapsed and refractory blood cancers. The company later listed on Nasdaq through a 2023 merger with Vascular Biogenics and pursued a predictive precision medicine platform around volasertib in acute myeloid leukaemia. The YC directory marks it Public, but its website did not resolve on 2026-09-10, so it is recorded as wound down pending a primary source; treat the status as uncertain.
