Pentixapharm
Pentixapharm is a German company making radioactive medicines that home in on a protein called CXCR4, which sits on the surface of many blood cancer cells. One version shows up on a PET scan; another carries radiation, and the company plans to test it as a way to clear the bone marrow before a stem cell transplant in acute myeloid leukaemia and myeloma.

Overview
Pentixapharm develops CXCR4 ligand-based radiopharmaceuticals in which the same ligand is used for imaging and for therapy. It was founded in 2019, with offices in Berlin and Würzburg, and was a subsidiary of Eckert & Ziegler before a spin-off into Pentixapharm Holding AG, which listed on the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on 3 October 2024 (ticker PTP, ISIN DE000A40AEG0). Its lead imaging agent, [68Ga]Ga-PentixaFor, is being taken towards a Phase 3 study (PANDA) in primary aldosteronism, a hormonal condition rather than a cancer. In oncology, the planned Phase I/II PENTHERA study pairs PentixaFor imaging with [90Y]Y-PentixaTher as targeted bone marrow conditioning before stem cell transplantation in acute myeloid leukaemia and multiple myeloma; the company's first-quarter 2026 report says the FDA completed its review of two INDs and that the study may proceed. It also has a CD24 antibody platform. At 31 March 2026 it held EUR 5.2 million in cash and expected that to fund operations to the end of the first quarter of 2027, with a convertible bond facility in place. Notes
- The first-quarter 2026 report does not say that PENTHERA has enrolled a patient; it says the FDA review allows the study to proceed. The company's figure of more than 2,000 patients given its compounds is its own claim and was not checked. Earlier lymphoma work with PentixaTher was not confirmed on a company page and is not described here. No PentixaFor or PentixaTher drug record exists in OnCo yet.
