T-E Meds is a Taipei company that builds antibody-drug conjugates, antibodies that carry drugs to cancer cells, using linkers that hold several drug molecules at once. Its HER2 medicine TE-1182 carries two different cell-killing drugs and has orphan drug status for gastric cancer.
T-E Meds Inc., in Nangang District, Taipei, was established in 2022 as the second subsidiary of T-E Pharma Holding, according to the company. It uses a multi-arm linker platform to make drug bundles that are site-specifically conjugated to antibodies, producing homogeneous high drug-to-antibody-ratio antibody-drug conjugates and antibody-radionuclide conjugates; it says its candidates, for multiple myeloma, pancreatic cancer and HER2-related cancers, are in preclinical development. Its HER2 candidate TE-1182, made with CHO Pharma, carries both MMAF and exatecan on trastuzumab. On 6 October 2026 the FDA granted orphan drug designation for gastric cancer to a trastuzumab-MMAF/exatecan dual-payload antibody-drug conjugate sponsored by T-E Meds.
TE-1182 is an experimental antibody-drug conjugate from T-E Meds that carries two different cell-killing drugs to cancer cells with HER2 on their surface. It has been tested only in the laboratory, and the FDA has given it orphan drug status for gastric cancer.
