TG Therapeutics
TG Therapeutics is a New York company whose lymphoma drug umbralisib was approved in 2021 and withdrawn in 2022 over a survival signal, and which now sells the anti-CD20 antibody ublituximab for multiple sclerosis.
Overview
TG Therapeutics, listed on Nasdaq, developed the PI3K-delta and CK1-epsilon inhibitor umbralisib (Ukoniq), which received accelerated approval in 2021 for relapsed marginal zone and follicular lymphoma and was withdrawn in 2022 after the UNITY-CLL trial suggested a possible detriment in overall survival, and the glycoengineered anti-CD20 antibody ublituximab, which it had studied with umbralisib in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and which is now approved as Briumvi for relapsing multiple sclerosis. It appears on OnCo as a lead sponsor of phase 3 cancer trials on ClinicalTrials.gov.
