Zai Lab
Zai Lab is the in-licensing pioneer that brings Western cancer drugs to China (niraparib, zanidatamab, repotrectinib, Tumour Treating Fields) and now exports its own bispecific and ADC assets.
Overview
Founded by Samantha Du; built on Greater China rights to niraparib (Zejula), zanidatamab, repotrectinib, tislelizumab-adjacent assets, sulbactam-durlobactam and Optune, with a Shanghai commercial organisation of hundreds. Internal pipeline: ZL-1310 (DLL3 ADC), ZL-1503 and the LRRC15 ADC ZL-6201 from MediLink. A bridge company: it explains how Western drugs reach Chinese patients years earlier than they otherwise would.
