Caris Life Sciences' tissue test that reads every gene's DNA and RNA and stains for tumour proteins, offered outside the United States and Europe.
MI Profile is Caris Life Sciences' tissue profiling test for solid tumours. It combines whole-exome and whole-transcriptome sequencing of more than 23,000 genes with immunohistochemistry for more than 25 tumour proteins, and reports single-nucleotide variants, insertions and deletions, copy number changes, microsatellite instability and tumour mutational burden. Two AI signatures are added for particular cases: Caris GPSai for cancer of unknown primary and Caris FOLFIRSTai for metastatic colorectal cancer. Caris gives an average turnaround of 6 to 9 days from receipt of the sample. Caris states that MI Profile is available globally excluding the United States, the European Economic Area, the EU and Switzerland; its FDA-approved tissue test in the United States is MI Cancer Seek.
Whole-exome DNA and whole-transcriptome RNA sequencing of more than 23,000 genes from formalin-fixed tumour tissue, with immunohistochemistry for more than 25 tumour proteins and, for some tumour types, chromogenic in situ hybridisation, pyrosequencing and AI-based signatures.
