Labcorp's tissue gene test for solid tumours, covering 523 genes with a 7 to 10 day turnaround and an option to add PD-L1 testing on the same sample.
OmniSeq INSIGHT is Labcorp's tissue comprehensive genomic profiling test for solid tumours, with a stated turnaround of 7 to 10 days. It reads the full coding sequence of 523 cancer-related genes for single-nucleotide variants, insertions and deletions, amplifications and translocations, and RNA from 55 genes for fusions and splice variants, and it reports microsatellite instability and tumour mutational burden; Labcorp's assay specifications list homologous recombination deficiency reporting as an option. It can be combined with PD-L1 testing on the same tissue. The clinical test is a laboratory-developed test; Labcorp also offers the assay to drug developers for research and investigational use, and a plasma version, OmniSeq INSIGHT ctDNA, for research use only.
Sequencing of the full coding sequence of 523 cancer-related genes in tumour DNA, and of 55 genes in tumour RNA for fusions and splice variants, from formalin-fixed tissue.
