Foundation Medicine's page (read 4 November 2026) describes two germline assays: FoundationOne Germline, 50 genes 'identified as high to moderate risk, linked to hereditary cancers that have clear actionability based on clinical guidelines', and FoundationOne Germline More, 154 genes adding 104 'emerging candidate genes associated with lower or uncertain cancer risks'. Both are laboratory-developed tests run by its reference laboratory, Fulgent Genetics, on peripheral blood or a saliva swab, with a typical turnaround of 14 to 21 days, ordered alone or with a comprehensive genomic profiling assay; each needs its own specimen.
