A US foundation that funds research on appendix cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP), runs a patient registry and holds education events for patients and doctors.
The Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Research Foundation states that its mission is to fund research toward a cure for appendix cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei, and to fund education about these diseases for health professionals, patients, carers and families. Its home page describes research grants around the world, sponsorship of educational conferences and symposia with physician scholarships, a free virtual appendix cancer symposium, and a patient registry and natural history study run under independent ethics board oversight on NORD's IAMRARE platform. Its address is in Springfield, Pennsylvania; the IRS lists it there with tax exemption from October 2008. Its site refused an automated request, so the page was read from its Internet Archive copy of October 2026.
