The UK charity for anyone affected by retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer of young children, offering lifelong support, awareness of the signs and research funding.
The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust says it is the only UK charity solely dedicated to people affected by retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer that usually affects children under six. It notes that about one child a week is diagnosed in the UK and that although 98% survive, around half lose an eye and some lose their sight. It gives lifelong support to children, families and adults who had retinoblastoma as children, including support grants and face to face sessions, raises awareness of signs such as a white glow in the eye or a squint, and funds research. Its registered address is at the Royal London Hospital. The Charity Commission register records latest income of about £0.7 million for the year ending 31 March 2026.
