The Greater Poland Cancer Centre (Wielkopolskie Centrum Onkologii) in Poznań, founded in 1953, is the specialist cancer hospital for the Greater Poland region, with radiotherapy, surgical and clinical oncology departments and a medical physics group active in European radiotherapy research. It is a full member of the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI); its representative on the OECI list is Julian Malicki.
