aka Hadassah University Hospital, Sharett Institute of Oncology, Hadassah Ein Kerem

Jerusalem's university hospital and Sharett Institute of Oncology, known for in-house CAR-T, BRCA founder mutation research and melanoma immunotherapy.

Hadassah Medical Center's Ein Kerem and Mount Scopus campuses house the Sharett Institute of Oncology and the Hebrew University's medical faculty. Polina Stepensky's bone marrow transplantation and immunotherapy department manufactures its own CD19 and BCMA CAR-T products, making Hadassah one of the first hospitals worldwide to deliver academic point-of-care CAR-T at scale; Michal Lotem's melanoma unit has long run tumour vaccine and immunotherapy trials, Tamar Peretz's oncogenetics group characterised BRCA founder mutations in Ashkenazi Jewish populations, and Aron Popovtzer leads head and neck oncology. The centre provides radiotherapy, gamma knife, paediatric haemato-oncology and a phase 1 unit for Jerusalem and the surrounding region.
